A weekend in Berlin. Five friends reunited for a celebration. Five lives turn upside-down.

The inhabitants of a strange desert Barcelona are gradually leaving the city in a panic group. The victims of a serial killers seem to feel strangely attracted by their executioners. Only Gim, an attractive blonde advertising model, decides to face her destiny.

Based on the 1918 novel 'Elsker hverandre' by Aage Madelung, the film follows various lives, one of which is Jewish girl Hanne Liebe, as she grows up, and experiences the pains of living as a Jew in Russia, leading to a revolution.

The evening before Christmas eve Vilde is hanging out with her friends at the central station, when she learns that her mother has been in an accident. She is forced to contact her biological father, but wants to run away to Tokyo.

Georg and Rita visit Georg's parents every Christmas without telling them that they are no longer a couple.
