How do Superconductors work at the Quantum level?
In a superconductor electrons are thought to pair up into "Cooper Pairs" that behave like bosons whereas single electrons are fermions. These boson-like pairs are in their lowest energy state, known as a Bose-Einstein condensate, so they are not scattered by the protons in the superconductor and can move with no resistance.

The sun derives it's energy form the fusion of hydrogen into helium but, as Arvin explains, it doesn't occur in just one step. Fusion is only successful because the helium nucleus is more stable than the a single proton, the hydrogen nucleus. How Exoplanets Reveal What Dark Matter Is
In a recent paper scientists speculated that dark matter may collide with matter in super-Jupiter exoplanets often enough to substantially warm them. This effect would be most pronounced toward the center of the Milky Way where dark matter tends to be more concentrated. The ideal tool to detect these effects is scheduled to launch in 2021, the James Webb Telescope.

In examining the nature of time Arvin explores why time always moves forward when quantum processes seem to be ambivalent to time and can go in either direction. He offers the observation that events that are probabilities in the future become certainties in the past (creating information) which implies that time is unidirectional.
