The plot of the music film 'Etegan: Bashkir Legends In Songs' is based on the Bashkir legend about seven girls who gave their lives defending homeland from the enemy. The film shows ancient Bashkirs' way of life and view of the world through folk songs. Giants, idols, division of the world into 3 levels: the world of angels, the world of living and the world of the dead. Dying in an unequal battle, the girls get to the upper world and turn into stars of the Big Dipper, which Bashkirs name Etegan.

No Man's Land combines intense musical and visual expression, filmed on-location at the Western, Eastern and Mediterranean fronts, to communicate the idea that such collaborations would have been unthinkable by the warring nations at the time of the conflict. Thus, perhaps, we can hope that nations currently at war will find themselves friends and collaborators in the years ahead.

Documentary centered around Athens GA rock & roll band Widespread Panic. Featuring interviews and performances by the band, and friends of the band, including Vic Chesnutt, Col. Bruce Hampton, Taj Mahal, Jerry Joseph, Danny Hutchins and David Blackmon.

Filmed on location in Texas and featuring a song about war, around the terror that some may feel in the moments before an attack.
