Das Glück klopft an die Tür

Das Glück klopft an die Tür

As if the sudden accidental death of her husband Lothar were not fate enough, the good housewife Gila Maibach is confronted with the next "surprise" when the will is opened: There is an unknown co-heiress for her beloved house, in which she spent many happy years of marriage with Lothar . First of all, Gila and her best friend, the cheeky Franziska, are firmly convinced that the young florist Maja Deutz is the deceased's lover. Already at the first personal encounter between the perplexed Gila and the quick-tempered Maja it turns out that Maja was not Lothar's lover, but rather his illegitimate daughter. And she now demands the payment of her inheritance without further ado. Easier said than done because Gila has no savings and she doesn't want to sell the mortgage-backed house. So it happens that after an argument with her husband Stefan, the heavily pregnant Maja and her little son Max move in with Gila - much to the astonishment of Gila's awkward neighbor Justus. First, the spirited team upset the well-ordered life of the honest housewife. After a while, however, the chaotic Maja and the shy Gila realize that they are not making such a bad team: While Maja is throwing her flower shop full of idealism, the former secretary Gila is cleaning up the accounting and taking care of Max. The jealous Franziska is convinced that Maja is only taking advantage of her best friend, but Gila really blossoms through the new challenges. For the first time in her life, she feels really needed. But then a violent argument destroyed the beginning friendship of the unequal duo. Maja reconciles with Stefan and returns to him. But Gila not only has to cope with the loss of her "new family", now the sale of her beloved house is also threatened.
