Twelve teens embark on a journey to confront racism, white privilege, and engage in difficult conversations, overcoming naivete and guilt, aiming to gain insights that could potentially impact society.

Together they question their own relationship with death.

The last day of the year is a perfect opportunity to connect people from different generations, social classes and sub-cultures. 12 professional crews were following 12 different characters during the last and the first day of the year and 300 participants contributed the project by submitting videos. The film offers a colorful tableau of a modern society by following the stories of a diverse cast of characters on New Year's Eve.
