Summary On a rainy day, 11-year-old girl Aoi Ishioka, suddenly disappeared around a rice field road where sunflowers bloom, leaving only one umbrella. Inspector Kenichi Nara rushes to the scene after receiving the report. He meets Masanori Ishioka, Aoi's father, who has been living separately from his family, while he and his wife are in the middle of divorce proceedings.
