Maria is a wife and mother in the beautiful, but very remote Connemara region of Ireland. When an old friend from Germany arrives in the place, her life is thrown into turmoil.

The story is about husband and wife who have a cold relationship. The wife is pregnant and the husband does not like to have a child and he is in doubt whether to tell her or not. In the meantime, the girl who is a photographer gets a project in a studio which is owned by a famous model. During her job, she finds out that the model (owner) has cancer and is depressed and waiting for his death. The girl gives him the hope and affection and tries to make friendly relations with him. The husband got to know the relationship and thinks that she is cheating on him. He commits to killing her but if he could not succeed and during the police investigation, he tells his story but finds out that it was all misunderstanding.

During a visit to the house of her grandparents, Kath finds some photographs of the civil riots in Argentina in 2001. When she returns to Buenos Aires she will attempt to discover the link between these pictures and her deceased mother, the author of the images.

Yorgos and his friends are a bike gang that lives wild, until he meets Eirini and things get complicated.

Ekhonee depicts the lives and frustrations of a bunch of youth struggling to cope with the adversities of a bureaucratic society. There's a bunch of college students Arun, Tiklu, Shambhu, Biman, Sujit, Urmi whose lives undergo a change after the carefree days of college are over. Arun, Tiklu, Shambhu, Biman and Sujit struggle to get a job. Sujit is the lucky one who gets a good job through his girlfriend's reference and also gets an opportunity to go abroad. Arun struggles for a job and loses his mother to cancer. Tiklu has to join his father's garage when he fails to get a job. Biman is forced to marry his girlfriend and is trapped in marriage. Shambhu leaves with Atin a comrade to work for the farmers. Urmi becomes pregnant with her fiancée's child but he leaves her and goes abroad. Arun who was her closest friend discloses his love for her and marries her. Their lives lead them to an unknown future.
