A Private Storm

Tank commander Corporal Tessen does not believe that his crew can become a successful team and requests a transfer. Ultimately he withdraws his request because of a little boy to whom he carelessly promised a tank model, but this would first have to be made by the crew members. New difficulties arise, even though everyone agrees on upholding the soldier's word of honor. The spell is only broken when the tank gets into a dangerous situation during an underwater journey and the four of them have to prove themselves together.

The Birthday Party is the story of a Syrian family living in the Zainabia district where the Takfiri terrorists are eager to conquer. Unable to proceed further and stuck behind enemy lines, he tries to operate the radio, only to end up conversing with a Chinese girl, who is a radio operator for the P.L.A. Relief Force. Without understanding each other, their conversation escalates through the night. As Sudhir succumbs to his wounds, he manages to complete the last couplet of his unfinished poem, which eventually transcends the barriers of language, shedding light on the true essence of religion and humanity.

Gordon Harvey, a wealthy American, enlists in the American Legion of the Canadian Army to fight with the Allies even before his own country has entered World War I. He woos and weds Betty Milburn, and then, because the young bride cannot bear to be parted from her new husband, she disguises herself as a Red Cross nurse and accompanies him to France. Ralph Perry, a spurned suitor, reveals her presence to the authorities, knowing that the young couple will be sentenced to death for breaking military rules. Rather than send Betty to the firing squad, Gordon shoots her and then embarks on a suicidal combat mission. He is saved by Perry, however, and awarded a Victoria Cross for heroism. Betty, only wounded by the shot, recovers and is reunited with her husband.
