The lives of two opposing jurors collide when deliberating on a trial involving a life-saving treatment for a queer woman of color. Their destinies unravel to reveal they're inextricably intertwined. Are love and justice blind?

A woman decides to start his own business and open a salon in the Spanish Quarter, but will start the rivalry with his former owner.

With revolutionary Mexico as a backdrop, a successful local rancher returns triumphant from the war to the praise of townsfolk, and "El General" is ready to take a wife. However the senorita of choice already has fallen for a secret admirer, and a boyhood rival who is threatened by the General's popularity in turn plots against his life.

The plot of this film can be viewed from a two different levels. The first is universal and deals with the psychological theme of need for competition in the group, highlighting the need for the victory, which in life usually does not depend on the true virtues of the winner, so the result is usually tragicomic. The story talks about the choice of the most noble work. Selected participants arrive at the guest house on the border between Croatia and Serbia to prepare for the final act of the competition and the jury's decision. Seven competitors have a rather narrow view of the world. Even when the big events, such as ethnic conflicts in this part of the Balkans, the contestants insist to proceed the competition and to choose the hero of heroes, even though the very idea of competition has become anachronistic under the pressure of current events (the anger of the local Serbian population of the newly established Croatian authorities).

The story of Damian, a boy from a small Moldovan village. Damian dreams of becoming a doctor and believes that he will succeed in Moscow. But upon arriving in the capital, the hero faces harsh reality. His expectations are dashed.

In "Vaterfreuden" erlebt Oliver Wnuk alias Freddy Kleemann, dass die Kapazitäten des liebevollen Familienvaters, fürsorglichen Sohns und engagierten Kita-Betreibers an Belastungsgrenzen stoßen. Obwohl ein beziehungstechnischer Systemabsturz droht, fällt es dem sympathischen Protagonisten schwer, seinen aufreibenden Multitasking-Modus zu entschleunigen. Im dritten Film der Komödien-Reihe "Das Leben ist kein Kindergarten" steht auch das Älterwerden der Großeltern - eindrucksvoll gespielt von Siemen Rühaak und Hedi Kriegeskotte - auf realitätsnahe Weise im Fokus: Während er sich seiner fortschreitenden Demenzerkrankung stellen muss, möchte sie wertvolle Lebenszeit nicht einfach verstreichen lassen: Vom Berliner Hauptstadt-Feeling bekommt der unfreiwillig zugezogene Konstanzer Freddy Kleemann wenig mit. Während sich seine hochschwangere Ehefrau Juliana von ihm alleingelassen fühlt, wünscht sich seine Geschäftspartnerin Lara mehr Einsatz bei ihrer Kita. Nicht nur die Kinder müssen das innovative Konzept mit Ruheräumen besser annehmen, auch bei den Eltern erhitzen sich zu Freddys Leidwesen die Gemüter. Große Sorgen macht ihm sein an Demenz erkrankter Vater Fritz. Freddy spürt, dass die gemeinsame Suche nach der richtigen Einrichtung ein letztes bewusstes Papa-und-Sohn-Projekt sein könnte. Entsprechend will er sich Zeit lassen und intensive Momente auskosten. Für Entlastung bei den Kleemanns soll Freddys Schwiegermutter Regina sorgen. Sie ist gerne für andere da, möchte aber selbst wieder einmal umgarnt werden. Vielleicht würde ihr eine Bekanntschaft guttun? Das denken ihre Enkel Zoë und Niko, die ihre Oma heimlich auf einer Dating-Plattform anmelden .
