Summary 7 days in Palestine is an experimental documentary by Emma Rose and Neil Boynton filmed on location in West Bank during May 2012. The film set out to capture the significance of place in the Holy Land for its visitors and inhabitants, the religious sites and tourist destinations that have international significance and, by contrast, less well known places special to the people of the occupied territories. Staying in the Palestinian city of Ramallah in the West Bank, Boynton and Rose unexpectedly find themselves at the centre of global politics when the community peacefully resists the Israeli treatment of Palestinian prisoners, many of whom are close to death having been on hunger strike for nearly three months.
