Summary Twenty-six meters beneath the waves at the foot of the majestic Calvi Citadel in Corsica lies an American plane from the Second World War. On February 14, 1944, while flying towards Italy, the American B-17 bomber, surrounded by its squadron, is attacked by the German air force. The pilot, in command of the aircraft, has only one engine out of four with which to do the impossible: save the seven survivors of the German attack.
