Fifteen years ago, Indian Sadhu Swami Shivananda had a metaphysical experience. He claims to have received instructions from God. 'Satyagraha' tells the story of a group of humble Sadhus who have taken on a corrupt government, a paid off police force, and a powerful mining mafia to protect the holiness of the Ganges River. They have been threatened, beaten, jailed and bribed. Two have died. Both were murdered, or so they believe.
