Emilia is a 17-year-old girl who just finished high school and now works at the local gas station. She dreams of being a professional dancer, but she has never had the courage to give up everything and try.

Emilia is a series about the anxiety of growing up in the digital age. Emília dreams of becoming the best dancer in the world, but she has never done anything to make it happen. As she turns 25 and works at the local gas station, she regrets her life is a lesser version of what she's always dreamed of. That day, Rosa, a girl with whom Emília compares her life on social media, enters the gas station, and allows her to discover that there is an audition at the contemporary dance company where Rosa works. From then on, Emília struggles between going to the audition, where she might be rejected, and the possibility of finally changing her life to find in dance the meaning she has been seeking for.
