Through conversations involving race, politics, hope, despair, careers, and the film industry, the story of post-Katrina, by pre and post-Katrina residents of New Orleans, is explored.

FIRST FRIDAY is a documentary that follows a diverse group of residents and community leaders, in the aftermath of a tragedy, as they work to preserve the event that symbolizes Oakland's recent renaissance.
