A medical student leaves for Ecuador to join Marianne, a volunteer for "Médecins sans frontières", who finds himself involved in blood trafficking, which the poor sell to survive.
Taxi driver Hasan meets Nazli on the road, and days after he proposes to marry her. She rejects him, and to make her jealous, Hasan pretends that he has married a blonde. Nazli still loves him, but also pretends to love another.
