Summary Star reporter Tip O'Neil is given an assignment from his newspaper, The Planet , to crack the case of valuable bonds stolen from the home of prominent broker Andrew White. Although the house is being guarded by the police, Tip manages to finagle his way inside, then comes face-to-face with a young woman who he recently rescued from pickpockets. Unknown to Tip, the woman is Helen, White's daughter, who offers to help him. Tip soon discovers that the bond thief is Fenwick Lawson, one of White's clients, and the owner of the bonds. Tip discovers that Lawson was trying to collect insurance for the bonds while still keeping them for himself. When Tip confronts Lawson, they fight, but Lawson manages to escape, forcibly taking Helen with him. Lawson then drags Helen to his boat, but she jumps overboard. Closely pursuing Lawson is Tip, who manages to rescue Helen and capture Lawson. View more details
