Based on Chingiz Aitmatov's novel "Farewell, Gyulsary!". The story of Tanabai the blacksmith, father of three children, who upon his return from war became a herdsman, and his tragic love for the soldier's widow Byubyudzhan.

A family of four people (parents and two children, one of them still a kid) live by the sea. The father studies the migratory flights of birds. One day, there appears an escaped prisoner on the shore, trapped just like one of the lost birds. The film depicts their acquaintance and the ensuing tragedy.

Greg is past his heyday as a bodybuilder and now faces problems with his quarreling parents and overbearing girlfriend. He turns to conning people for money using a made-up Facebook account as part of an elaborate scheme devised by his manager Marney. Their operation gets compromised when Greg falls in love with their latest victim Daisy, an older single woman. This is a story of deceptive people and how they feed on other people's needs for love, sex and money.

A typical mid-30s entry from the Maury M. Cohen Invincible arm of Chesterfield Pictures, shot in the usual static style of Frank R. Strayer who moved the camera maybe twice for a medium close-up, probably under orders not to from producer Cohen who knew moving the camera cost time and money. This one has good-girl Dorothy Brooks being summoned to the apartment of her department store boss, Mr. Dickman, who accuses her of stealing lingerie from the store, but if she will be nice and kiss him, he won't turn her in. She shoves him away and he tumbles (off-camera, of course) out of the second story window. Dorothy flees with the aid of her friend, Kitty Kennedy, and she soon encounters Donald Cabot, Jr. who, unknown to her, is the son of the department store owner. He, of course, also doesn't know she is an employee of his father's store wanted for assault and theft. No surprises from this point to the happy ending. Dickman, the cad, naturally turns out to be the lingerie thief.

A serial killer preys on prostitutes from the mean streets of a small, mid-west city as the police turn a blind eye. With an insatiable sexual appetite, the killer brutalizes his victims and leaves their bodies at Moon Lake outside of town. A voice inside the killer's head commands him to kill, his victims beg for death. John Martin Crawford is only too happy to oblige. But Moon Lake happens to be a spiritual holy ground for the local Native Americans, and soon the victims' ghosts are haunting both family members and complete strangers in desperate pleas for justice so their souls may rest. A supernatural story that reminds us the dead are not powerless.
