A Slice of life animated comedy about an 8 years old kid, fondly known as Bhaiyyaji Balwan and his adventures in the the village of Gomatipur.

Leipzig, 1989. Germany is still divided into East and West, but this matters little to twelve-year-old friends Fritzi and Sophie-until Sophie has to flee to the West with her mother. There, she faces prejudice against "those from over there," but mostly battles her homesickness. Fritzi's attempt to at least bring Sophie her dog, Sputnik, fails at the heavily guarded border. Fritzi realizes that only the fight for freedom in her own country can bring them back together.

Who needs dialog when you're this cute? The beautiful (but unlucky) Momoko, the cool, collected Shibumi, and the refreshingly innocent Mayumi star in a "silent manga." No speeches, no dialog. Just pictures, sound effects, and three high school girls living their daily lives.

Mixing animation and original archives, the documentary series made up of six episodes plunges us into the lives of the legendary artists and intellectuals who defined Modern Art at the dawn of the 20th century.
