Historian Julian Davison visits Norway, where he explores its beautiful capital Oslo, before boarding the super fast intercity express train to Bergen, which is nestled within some of the most striking scenery in the world.
Julian's first stop is Vienna, before heading high into the Alps. After a stop in Semmering and a visit to an historic steam locomotive festival, Julian continues on his way to the Italian town of Trieste.
Julian explores Hungary's Budapest on an underground railway before jumping on a series of local trains that see's him heading to Poland. Julian then continues his journey on to Poland's capital Warsaw, where he finishes his expedition.
