S1.E7 ∙ I'm Home

A Korean executive ventures into the Himalayas to visit a family in a small mountain village, where time seems to have stood still for 100 years.

A hot summer. A private district with an enormous park. An abandoned plot of land in the suburbs and an uncontrollable wave of smoke spark uncertainty and chaos.

The countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, and high-school student, Daniel, spends a normal adolescence life with his family, studying, riding his bicycle, playing games on the Internet and expecting one day to move to the big city of Porto Alegre. Daniel has a crush on his girlfriend Mim, who has just broken up with him but is still his friend, and his best friend, Lucas, is one of the best students in São Lucas High-School. Daniel is the son of Elaine and the photographer Daniel, who left Elaine when she was pregnant and moved alone to Thailand. Daniel is raised by Elaine and his stepfather Antônio, and shares a house with his half-sister, Maria Clara. One day, Daniel receives a letter from his biological father, who has malaria, and he is reluctant to open the envelope. Later he offers to help Lucas with some duties at the school laboratory, but when the Daniel realizes that his friend is dating Mim, he blows up and breaks the laboratory, leaving the key in the door. Lucas is blamed by the headmaster and is suspended from classes and examinations. Daniel decides to tell the headmaster the truth and learns that a laptop was stolen from the lab.

Rajan K. Choudhry is a wealthy industrialist. He lives in a palatial house with his older brother, and only son, Vikram. Vikram is a womanizer, alcoholic, and late party-goer, who has been handed everything on a silver plater by his dad. His uncle does not appreciate this, and wants Rajan to assert his responsiblity as a parent and discipline Vikram, in vain though. Rajan would like Vikram to marry his friend's, Jai Kumar's daughter, Shalu, but Vikram only treats Shalu as a friend, as he would like to have sex with one girl; have a second girl undress for him in public; and marry a fourth woman named Chanda Bhargava, just to spite his dad, without knowing that his decisions are going to lead both father and son to a destitute fate, that will change their lives forever.

From the brilliant mind of David "Cowboy" Keary in conjunction with Northern Lights Productions, comes a new film, "MoneyMakers." The film digs deep into the struggles of four inner city teens, who are consumed with the common chase for the money and the power. In this new powerful movie, the crew who deem their nickname the "SouthSide MoneyMakers," anxiously search for a way out of the hood and ways to gain prosperity. Big dreams and hopes to live a better life fuel their desire to achieve more, but before they can reach their big dreams, they are caught up in drugs, violence, and the struggles with life. Eventually the money, power, and greed overcome the boys friendship, with causes jealousy and betrayal within the crew, which leads to their tragic downfall.
