Summary Elf Metodu is a thirteen-episode TV series that deals with murder in a humorous way. It tells the story of Karen - an unassertive Maltese woman choked in her reality by an abusive husband - and drowned by slanderous conversations with her husband's pet bulldog, Elvis, who goes out of his way to please his master at Karen's expense. When the husband suddenly dies under suspicious circumstances, Karen is suddenly set free and needs to release all of her pent-up energy. A teenage friend whose ideas and fashion sense may be slightly too forward, a guy whose profession and sexuality resist definition, and a therapist whose agitation might be interfering with her ability to help our heroine all line up behind Karen to help her make the best out of her life. After the tragic death of the husband, the dog makes it a point to take on his ex-master's mantle, going as far as delivering Karen's secret diary to the police.
