In 1943, after a German police raid, a French Resistance fighter dies. His wife, Cora, takes his place within the resistance network. Her code-name is 'The Cat'. After a few successful operations against the occupying German forces, Cora attracts the attention of the Abwehr, the German Army Intelligence. The Abwehr tasks Captain Bernard Werner to entrap Cora. Under the guise of a neutral Swiss journalist, Bernard Werner manages to gain Cora's confidence. The two fall in-love and gradually Bernard is introduced to Cora's network of Resistance fighters. Although working for the German Intelligence, Bernard ultimately wants to save Cora's life.—nufs68
