Summaries

On 29 September 1938, the infamous Munich Agreement was negotiated, and it is the story of the dark period of the German occupation of Czechia that takes us to a theatre where two acting troupes, Czech and German, alternate. The Czech troupe, however, is due to move into the People's House in a month's time. The head of the Czech troupe, the popular actor Jirí Kylar, discovers that the inspector Frantisek Jurda is distributing anti-Nazi leaflets in the theatre and angrily accuses him of endangering the theatre. Little does he know that the leaflets have already fallen into the hands of the Gestapo, who suspect someone from the Czech troupe of being connected to the Moscow paratrooper... The Gestapo's conviction that the paratrooper is hiding in the theatre grows, and so they decide to surround the building. At this moment, the actor Kylar appears on the scene, and probably the most difficult role of his life awaits him.—EuroFan
