The Curious Story of Spurious Falls

Simon McClary has not had a good few days. His dad is getting re-married, his new step-mom doesn't want him on their family vacation, and now suddenly he's being dropped off with a mysterious 'aunt' he's never met. As Simon explores the strange town his aunt lives in, he encounters an assortment of quirky townspeople who all have a story to tell him about a man who lives on the hill above the town of Spurious Falls. Everyone has a different story to tell--but which ones are true? As Simon explores Spurious Falls, he realizers that the truth about this man on the hill is much more important to him than he ever imagined.

Max's Dreaming

A hospitalized amnesiac boy, victim of an abduction gone wrong, brings police detective Mark Bryce (Friels) and nurse Rose (Picot) together. Both have 'baggage' -- she a recently widowed and somewhat demented father, George (Myles), living at home; Mark a divorce with only part-time access to his two children, plus a demanding and increasingly frustrating job. Over the next 24 hours the lives of this pair intersect as they each try to coax some memories from the boy (named 'Max' by Mark), while George struggles with his failing mental capacity and visions of his late wife and her dead first husband.
