Summary This is the story of 5 little girls who reside in Lima, Peru and have a very special way of speaking Spanish. Carito is the leader, her father is Argentinean, Cayetana is the grand daughter of the Spain Ambassador to Lima, Raquie is Jewish Orthodox, Patty loves surfing and Humita is an indigenous girl whose father has made a fortune out of the grilled chicken business; they all go to St. Catherine's Elementary School. Bullying is one of the key issues of the movie as these four girls take advantage of their social status and bully Humita who happens to be from a foreign country and on top of than not precisely Roman Catholic or Jewish but Evangelical. In the end, Carito finds out the she suffers from Leukemia and from then on the film changes overnight and nothing will be the same. They are participating in this volleyball tournament and they also have a teen girl band.
