The story of one day - August 12, 2012. The Earl's Court Exhibition Center in London is filled with fans. Millions of viewers around the world are waiting for the start of the broadcast of the final volleyball game among men's teams, which will determine the winner of the XXX Olympic Games. The Russian team that has never won gold. And the Brazilian national team, caressed by contracts, victories and loyal fans. Many people think that the outcome of the game is predetermined. But few people yet know what place this final occupies in the life of each of the Russian athletes.

A mysterious street-painter, Jouji, wanders aimlessly, homeless. Together with his homeless pals, he makes his living by selling his paintings on the street. His paintings, dynamically exploding on pieces of cardboard, catch the eyes of Kyoko, an art dealer. He can feel alive only if he keeps painting, but unable to find something to fill his void inside, he tries to drown himself in alcohol. Drawn to Jouji, Kyoko commissions him to paint for her. The two travel to a secluded mountain-side, and there Jouji becomes inspired both by the natural surroundings and Kyoko herself.

At Christmas emotions erupt over his care as he is in an advanced state of Parkinson's disease. Caught in the middle is his wife. His son and grandson decide to brighten up his life knowing that this can hasten his death.

After his mother passes away, Modhu comes to the capital city with her blessings. He finds refuge in his uncle's house as an unpaid house help. He buys a lottery ticket and with the blessings of his mother, wins the first prize. His life changes as series of events take place.

For many years there has been a conflict between two powerful Sarakatsanian families, whose children, despite their family hatred, are lovingly groomed.
